- Age Requirement
Please reference the shows ticketing page for show specific age requirements.
Please have your Driver License, Military ID, Student ID, or other proof of ID with you for shows with Age Requirements (18+ or 21+). Photo ID must have birthday on it.
Please view the website and ticketing pages to understand the age requirement before purchasing a ticket as all purchases are final and tickets are non-refundable.

- Box Office Hours
Lock in your ticket in person every Friday from 10am-2pm and 1hr before every show at the Fremont Box Office.
Info box (info@fremontslo) hours are Monday-Friday 9am-3pm
- Camera Policy
To respect the artists and our guest's experiences, professional cameras (telephoto / zoom lenses,) compact point and shoot cameras, go-pros, video cameras, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, and audio recording devices will NOT be permitted inside The Fremont Theater.
- Capacity & Seating
The capacity for a general admission show is 900: 450 fixed padded theater seats plus the GA pit.
The capacity of a seated show is 819: 450 padded theater seats and 369 molded stacking chairs. - Coat Check
The Fremont Theater does not have a coat check.
- Doors
The time that doors open for a show varies, and is specified on our website and the show ticket page.
Typically, doors open one hour before the show begins. All Show Door Times vary.
- Driving Directions

- Employment
If you are interested in working at The Fremont Theater please bring a resume and cover letter to the Box Office. We are always looking for passionate people to join our team!
- Food & Beverage
The Fremont Theater offers beer and wine, along with our popular movie theater-style concessions stand with fresh popped popcorn, candy, soft drinks, pizza and more.
- Guest List
If you are on a guest list for the venue or an artist, retrieve your ticket(s) at the Will Call Box Office located at the front of the theater. Box office opens 60 minutes before doors.
- Hotels

- House Rules
HOUSE RULES FOR THE FREMONT THEATER
- No items or actions deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the venue staff
- Common examples- pocket knives, pepper spray
- All guests are subject to search
- No drugs
- No flash photography
- No gum
- No smoking of any kind (including vapes)
- No standing in the aisles. Keep the aisles clear in case of an emergency
- No standing on chairs
- No outside food or beverages allowed into the venue
- Please be thoughtful of the patrons around you and behind you
- Please inform a staff person if you see any situation developing or other problem that needs attention
- Please do not converse with the Sound and Lights personnel during a performance
- No items or actions deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the venue staff
- Lost & Found
All lost & found items are stored in the management offices at The Fremont Theater. If you have lost an item, please speak with the box office attendant or send an email to .
- Lost Ticket
In the event you are unable to locate your ticket, please email info@fremontslo.com or visit the box office for assistance prior to the show.
- Moshing and Crowd Surfing Policy
The Fremont Theater has a zero-tolerance policy for moshing, crowd surfing, or standing on the chairs at shows. Ticketholders involved in any of these activities will be escorted out of the venue.
- Parking
There are many parking options available around the venue. We recommend the various parking structures located in downtown San Luis Obispo. See our Parking page for more details.

- Refund Policy
The Fremont Theater does not allow refunds under any circumstances. All ticket sales are final.
- Restaurants
The Fremont Theater, located in the heart of downtown SLO, is surrounded by many dining options. Go visit our friends at Woodstock's Pizza or Black Horse Espresso and tell them, "The Fremont sent me!"
- Re-Entry
Re-Entry is not permitted.

- Tickets - Secondary Market
Did you purchase tickets from a source other than The Fremont Theater website,or Pre-Kindle? Are you wondering if your tickets are legit?
The Fremont Theater has no way of validating or replacing tickets that have been purchased through any website that is not an authorized ticketing vendor of the Fremont Theater. We cannot seat or refund you for an invalid ticket.

- Smoking Policy
The Fremont Theater has a firm NO SMOKING policy and does not allow smoking or vaping of any kind inside the venue. According to local law, we ask that ticket holders smoke at least 25 feet from the venue.
- Ticketing Options
Interested in coming to a show at The Fremont Theater? Purchase tickets online from our website.
- Will Call
The Fremont Theater Will Call Box Office is a small, detached booth, located at the front of the venue, directly in front of the doors to the theater. Any House Staff or Security Guard can direct you.
- Bag Policy
Bags are relative to the show.
Some tours don't allow them but that is infrequent.
When bags are allowed, and in most cases they are, we do full bag searches at the door.
Any persons not agreeing to a bag search are not granted entry to the venue.
All bags are subject to search including clutches and wallets. - Cashless Concessions
Effective June 9th 2023, the Fremont Theater's bar and concessions stand are cashless. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted.
