Al Stewart rose to prominence in the British folk revival of the 1960s and '70s, developing a singular blend of folk-rock and richly detailed songs drawn from history. His breakthrough albums Year of the Cat and Time Passages, both certified Platinum, produced two of the most enduring singles of the era. Over a six-decade career he has released more than a dozen studio albums, from Bedsitter Images (1967) to Sparks of Ancient Light (2008), and collaborated with artists including Jimmy Page, Phil Collins, Alan Parsons, and Peter White. His Farewell Tour launched in 2025 with full houses across the eastern United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, and continues in 2027 across the American West.
